WHEN WILL WE HAVE A BY ELECTION IN NW LEICESTERSHIRE ?

It has been 3 weeks since the death of the Labour MP for NW Leicestershire, with no movement on when or if there will be a By election. Much like the country, the constituency is in limbo, waiting for Gordon Brown to get a backbone and call a general election. Consensus is, it will be on May 6th as that helps him by having the council elections on the same day, but he could wait until the first week of June, which means this seat will be without a MP for up to 6 months.

EAST MIDS NATIONALIST picks up on this subject, and suggests we should ask Nick Brown the labour chief whip and find out when the people can have a by election.

This area is already well served by BNP councillors and has hard workers like EAST MIDLAND NATIONALIST, maybe the area should have a chance of a BNP MP a few months before the rest of the country.
