UKIP NOT ONLY TRY TO STEAL BNP POLICIES BUT ALSO THE NAME OF THE PARTY

click here You will find nominations from the Telford .gov website. There is three by elections on the 11th February two for the county council one for the town council of wellington. the BNP are standing in the Telford ward of Nedge End.

UKIP or as we have known the party to be known as UKIP have two candidates, one up against the BNP in Nedge End under the banner of Britain First UK Independence Party, and the other for the College Ward seat on the Wellington Town council under the banner UK Independence Party (UKIP).

Has the party split into two ? Or is this just another sly trick, to try and fool the voters ?

Is this nominee ineligible if he is standing for a party which is not named ? As I have never heard of this Britain First UK Independence Party.

VOTE FOR THE REAL THING, VOTE BNP

  1. Candidates can also stand under descriptions registered with the Electoral Commission by the party.
For example a BNP candidate can stand as "British National Party - Protecting British Jobs."

As of 27th January, UKIP have not registered the description "Britain First UK Independence Party" with the Electoral Commission.
    See here: http://registers.electoralcommission.org.uk/regulatory-issues/regpoliticalparties.cfm?frmGB=1&frmPartyID=60&frmType=partydetail

In my opinion the UKIP candidate should, legally, have their nomination cancelled, or be forced to stand as an independent.

I urge all readers to pass this information on to Telford BNP and BNP head office and complain to the council.
