I have continued today to try and get answers to the candidate Ray Knight, who will stand under the party name of Britain First UK Independence Party. for the nedge ward in Telford on the 11th Feb.
I have emailed the Telford Returning officer.
CLICK HERE and you will see the response of, if you don't like it go to the courts and spend thousands. I have given him every opportunity to explain himself, and thanks to the comments, pointed him to the specific piece of electoral commission advice which makes this candidate ineligible due to the party name used not being registered.
Whilst mailing the major news resources, I thought I would contact the main UKIP blogger known as wonkotsane who runs blogger for UKIP. With what I thought was a very simple couple of questions.
Is the UKIP party using the name of Britain First UK Independence Party ? and is it registered with the electoral commission?
What came back was a very strange response.
FROM WONKOTSANE
Quis custodiet ipsos custodium?

Who indeed guards the guardians ? It seems the election officer has no interest, and why the evasion from a major UKIP blogger.
I thought I would try again..I simply put.
Not an answer to the question though
To which Wonkotsane replied
The BNP has 2 MEPs, don't they employ researchers to find this sort of thing out?
Just what have UKIP got to hide? as you can see below Mr Knight ran as UKIP in 2004. So why can't anyone answer a very simple question ? Is the name registered ?
