WHO FUNDS YOUR PARTY?

I have seen a few ludicrous posts on the Internet about trying to expose the BNP for how it funds the party and how it hasn't reached some perceived targets. This is on the back of Lord Ashcroft and co bank rolling the Tory party whilst the Unions not only bank roll the Labour party but air lift UNITE leaders into safe all women seats, when the UNITE leader is a man. Harriet Harmans husband to be precise.

I am not linking to the sites but at least two anti BNP sites, claim to have top secret information about how the BNP funding is going. Aye! It's top secret alright, that's why you can see how the regions are doing everyday by logging into the BNP website. Not too bright these anti BNPers.

They also claim to have a plan of action about how to hold a BNP meeting and how to correctly go about getting the most out of the evening. Now there again, where is the problem? I am happy that the BNP have a coordinated effort into generating funding. It shows how the party has grown, and has become more professional in its attitude towards all sides of politics. A party will not grow from beer draws and raffles.

This is the problem that the other parties have, their membership has shrunk so much that they simply can't live off the membership supporting them. In the case of the Tories and Lib Dems they have to rely on millions of pounds donations from anyone silly enough to give them money. Whilst the Labour party can turn to the Unions.

In the case of the unions I feel that is even more underhand. In my profession I would like to join the union which deals directly with what I do. But I won't as I don't want my money to fund the labour party. The Labour party gets money under false pretenses. How many people who don't vote labour but join unions because they want support and backing in their jobs agree with having their money spent propping up the government.

I had a conversation with the union rep when I had a few problems in my job as an agency worker. I had been doing the job for 9 months well past the original 3 months which I was told it would be before I was taken on.

I asked her "What can you do for the agency workers?"

Her reply made me laugh, if only because it was so wrong. "It's all the governments fault, we can't really do anything for you"

I said "But it's a Labour government, the union pays them, so surely they have a voice in what happens."

her reply " But its all the Tories fault, they created a lot of laws which means we can't help the agency workers." then she said"Come back when you are full time."

I didn't bother saying that Labour have been in power now for 13 years and its a bit much for them to still blame the Tories. Oh and when I did become full time. I have to wait another 2 years before the union could do anything to protect me in my job.

You couldn't make it up. So who funds your party? The people of Britain hard working like you and me fund the BNP. Who funds your party?
