DO I EAT CURRY?

I had a twitter conversation last night with votenotoBNP. Not one of the easiest things to do, when you have to put your opinion in 140 characters. But anyone lurking would have seen a BNP supporter correcting all his misinformation which he has been distributing. We do need to remember though, that no matter how much we maybe antagonised by these people and the lies they spread. You need to keep your cool and not be abusive at all. As with most people in life, they will only distribute your one moment of anger and not put it into context. If you feel like that is what you are going to do, simply step away.

As for votenotoBNP, he is one mixed up individual. He claims to be retired and that the only reason he has the picture of a young man on the front of his site is because that is what came free with the site template. As he was defending his position I could only think of family guy. It is pretty simple to put any photo you want into the header it seemed his choice to keep the photo of the young man.

As with everything in life, it is all to do with perceived perceptions. The vote which the Tories, Labour and Lib Dums want. Is the young vote, get them to vote for you once and there is a better chance of keeping them into the future. So I don't for one minute believe him. It is all part of a wider plan. When he was asked who did he support? He replied to me that he hadn't decided yet. But only moments earlier had told someone he voted Tory.

If you ever have the misfortune to look at his site, you will see three links to Tory sponsored sites, including of course Nothing British. It seems the Tories are investing their money in not promoting themselves but dragging other parties down. The BNP must be a threat due to the fact that we draw such attention.

I was questioned myself in this twitter conversation on how giving out someones name would gain votes for the BNP. The purpose for the post, as well as anything I do is to show that BNP supporters are like everyone else. We are not the monsters the UAF promote us to be. My last post showed up the hypocrisy of his site and of his own actions on twitter. Using multiple accounts to make it look like more people backed what he had to say. Finding out who this person was, may lead to outing his true agenda and who is backing him.

The reason for the title to this post. It came from a conversation at work last night. I do not hide the fact at work of who I would vote for. It doesn't mean that I wander around with a union jack tie on but if someone has a question or there is a debate I put the perspective of a BNP supporter. It is fascinating on how many folks from time to time come up with all sort of daft and more serious questions.

It seems that the media has had such an effect on everyone, that when they see a BNP supporter they expect a skinhead and hob nail boots. So last night a colleague was talking about things in general, and then turned to me and said "I guess that you don't eat curry with you supporting the BNP? Do you eat curry?"
In some respects it was funny the way he asked the question, if the boot was on the other foot and I was to ask the question of an ethnic worker(he was white) it could be taken in offence, especially as it was inferring that because of who I support I would somehow not eat foreign dishes.

I replied "Yes, thank you. There is no reason for us to not experience other peoples culture. I am only in support of my own homeland. We have our homeland they have theirs."

As we had, had a few conversations in the past, his reply came as a surprise.
He said "I get what you mean. If I had you as a guest to my house you would live by my rules. But if I came to your house I would respect your way of doing things."

It seemed something of an epiphany for him and this is what happens in a lot of the conversations I have been having. A lot of people only see and hear the media lies. When they are confronted with a supporter and have the chance to ask questions or talk openly they get to see us for what we are. Now I am not saying they will or won't vote BNP but a lot more people are open to doing so, than what they were before.

A lot of people have the same concerns. We have worries at work as a lot of our internal work is being taken abroad to people who do not do the same standard as ourselves but because they are cheaper they continue to use them.

A lot of people agree with me with this fact. Churchill insurance and many other firms are allowed to be racist on the TV. One of the big sellers of their product is that you will only be dealing with UK call centres. Yet the media or UAF do not jump on that. But people do only like dealing with their own kith and kin. If you make a point of this you are racist. But if you are an ethnic claiming benefits you are more than welcomed to get a translator for one of the many languages out there having no need or requirement to learn English.

The country has an open door policy to immigration yet we have our own people out of work and struggling to find jobs. This is what the people see, and the more we as BNP supporters talk to those around us and correct the myths which are put out. The better prospect of getting people to vote BNP.

VOTE BNP

  1. I agree there is no need to slag people off and use foul language, no matter how idiotic they are. I see BNP supporters biting the bait on utube alot. There is no need to sink to their level, we are in the right!

I often have conversations with people who have very little knowledge of nationalist politics, and more often than not, their opening gambit is "oh, you dont support them racist bastards do ya?" I am always quick to ask them for any BNP policy that they think is racist, and not once have these people been able to point to anything racist. I always refer them to the BNP website, and ask them politely to research for themselves what we as a party are all about. Most come back to me and say "yeah, sorry mate, you were right." The lies that the likes of "unite against fashion" (yes i realise it isnt spelled correctly)and dope not soap keep spreading, are becoming more and more impotent. If we keep spreading the truth about our party, we can, and will succeed.

    Vote British National Party.

  3. family guy: I think is a good analogy.
Referring to votenotoBNP being an retired gentlemen who as a picture of a young man on his blogger/website. If you look at some of the tweeters that join him in tweets and look at their profiles, you will see some of them are young and could be impressionable people. Without taking screenshots and naming names, a simple look for yourself you can see some of these young people that may be impressionable. Example: One of his followers is a young 17yr old gay man, and you have this elderly retired votenotoBNP engaging chat/tweets with this young man being under the impression he is of or around the same age group.
    Surely this is illegal.........
