Former UKIP candidate Neil Jackson is to represent the British National Party as its prospective parliamentary candidate in the East Sussex constituency of Bexhill and Battle.
Mr Jackson has had a long career in public service, starting with the Royal Air Force and later in the Customs and Excise office and the Metropolitan Police’s civil staff.
“I joined the BNP because it is the only party capable of dragging this once great country out of the mess it is now in,” Mr Jackson said.
“I am concerned over immigration and asylum which are overwhelming our NHS, housing and schools and undermining law and order. This is making an already difficult employment situation worse.”
Mr Jackson will also be campaigning for an immediate end to Britain’s involvement in unnecessary foreign wars, with particular reference to Afghanistan.
“If elected, I will uphold the highest standards of integrity and undertake to always be receptive to voter concerns,” he said.
