IT LOOKS LIKE I MIGHT HAVE BEEN RIGHT.

Yesterday, I wrote the blogpost DEJA VU. The media had been sucked in on a story about a British (Pakistani) boy being kidnapped.

I suggested it reminded me of the time of when Karen Matthews hid her daughter to gain from it. It seems that it might be a relative of the family who has kidnapped the child believing that he could get money out of his own richer family member.

Wajid Hassan, the high commissioner, said police were investigating whether someone in Sahil's family was involved.

"The perception is that they had a lot of money," Hassan said. "So somebody from inside of the family who is less fortunate might have arranged it."

Whilst all this is happening, with blanket coverage yesterday and even more today. The mother of the child is bemoaning that the British government is not doing enough.

Speaking at the family's home in Oldham, Sahil's mother, Akila Naqqash, said they were getting no information from British officials.

"I want the government to do something because they have not responded to us, anything - what stage they're at, how they're going to help," she said.

So lets get this straight. The father has only been in the UK for 7 years. Most probably an arranged marriage which then gave him a passport to stay here. He takes his child back to Pakistan to be with the family for a holiday. It may well be that his own extended family has then beat him up and kidnapped the child to get money.

This is still to be all revealed. But it is becoming clearer. The British Government is doing a lot I would guess. The coverage on the news and Mr Woolas coming out giving his support as well as the local police. Which is all for a matter which has happened in Pakistan and which could well have been commit ed by his own family for gain. The Father is not even born in the UK.

I would say we are doing a lot and you should be grateful for the help which they have been getting and not bite the hands that feed like a lot of the incoming people seem to do.

Lets not forget that two British born people are still being held captive by Somalia pirates and face death, they are in real danger. What is the British government doing for them? Is a question I would like answered.

VOTE BNP AND HAVE A GOVERNMENT WHICH CONCERNS IT SELF WITH LOOKING AFTER THE BRITISH PEOPLE.
