ANY QUESTIONS?

I am having a weekend off blogging, it is our lass's birthday and as much as she loves me she would not be to enamoured if I was spending my time on here. It also does yourself good to have a break once in a while as well. No one can ever completely break the ties of the Internet so I will be still logging in occasionally to moderate comments But no new posts until Monday.

Earlier I was walking to meet our lass and was thinking about the emails I sent out to the other political parties concerning joining a party which you didn't believe in, and how those replies drew a bit of new light onto the subject.

Then as you do, my mind wandered to the strikes led by the unions which we will have to endure in the coming months and how can you actually believe either side. I am sure the owners want to get the most out of the workers for the least expense. The unions want the most out of the companies for the least effort. I feel the unions should understand if the businesses go bust. Then they will have no one to pay the wages. But on the other hand if the businesses don't treat the workers properly they will continue to lose more money than they hoped to gain from the cuts.

It finally led me to my two questions.

If postal workers are asked by their unions not to deliver BNP material in the run up to the General Election. Will they be disciplined? If they do not discipline them because it is an act of conscience. What is the stance of the postal unions on scam mailings which are sent through the post to vulnerable people. The posties must know which letters are the most likely to be these scams. So why do they deliver them? Aren't they just paid to deliver the mail?

My second Question was to the NUJ. remember this post?

How can the NUJ defend the rights of Sinn Fein in the 80's But attack the BNP in the modern day?

An email has been sent to both relevant unions. I will keep you posted(so to speak, no pun intended)

This is where I throw it open to you, on a Monday I am hoping to do a any questions spot, where I put a question to the relevant people. Can't promise a response. But if you don't ask you don't get. Do you now? So any suggestions for questions?

So leave a comment and I will pick them up for moderation.
