Over the weekend I noticed a few stories I would have blogged about, firstly from Friday.
The UK Independence Party will not stand against hardline Eurosceptic rivals in other parties at the general election, its leader has said.
So does that mean they won't be standing against BNP candidates?
Of course not, the plastic Tories will be trying to split the vote as much as they can and allowing back in the same old same old.
VOTE BNP VOTE FOR THE REAL THING
UAF street thug leader arrested.
The BNP main blog did a good report on it. This person is an integral part of the SWP but is endorsed by all the main parties and funded by the unions. So the Tories pledge support to a fully funded union group of thugs.

Durham student union leave the NUS after threats of violence from...
Yes you guessed it the thugs from the UAF who got arrested at the weekend.
Unite Against Fascism had vowed to prevent the event going ahead.
However, many students were angry at a letter sent to the DUS, Durham Students’ Union (DSU) and Durham University by Bellavia Ribeiro- Addy, the NUS’ black students officer, and Daf Adley, the NUS’ lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender officer, which appeared to suggest the debate could lead to violence.
It warned of a “colossal demonstration” if the forum went ahead, with coach loads of students being bussed into Durham. “If any students are hurt in and around this event, responsibility will lie with you,” they wrote.

It was good news to see the organisers of street violence get nicked.
ReplyDeleteGood work by the Police: UAF are claiming some huge media and Police conspiracy, but when you watch the vids on youtube you see how stupid the conspiracy theory of the UAF looks and sounds.
I have read some of the UAF blog posts (wont link that filth here) they do make good amusement if you get chance to go have a read. If i ever run out of toilet paper i could always print a blog post or two off.
Durham Students: Very pleased that the students of Durham have stood up for freedom and democracy. Bullying tactics and threats never really achieve anything, they just put yourself in a big bright light for all to see.
I think the story about the Durham students highlights the previous story about UAF and its threat of violence.
ReplyDeleteI can well imagine that the UAF are saying "Who me? Guv" Yet the students in Durham were intimidated with veiled threats of violence to prevent a debate. So it is good that they were stopped from creating that very same violence in Bolton.
You only have to view the news when Nick Griffin went on Question Time. It was those peace loving UAF types who were trying to break down the gates to the BBC. But of course they are not violent at all...
