A study by the University of Plymouth, Colin Rallings and Michael Thrasher, shows that if there had been AV for the 2005 election, Labour would have won 364 seats rather than 356. The Conservatives would have won 15 fewer (183, asopposed to 198) and the LibDems would have gone up from 62 to 71.
So even till the end, Gordon Brown tries to fiddle the voting system in Labours favour, and shows even though it is not the truly proportional system the Lib Dums wanted it is why they will probably support Labour as they gain from this system as well.
A vote will be held in parliament tomorrow. We will see what happens.
