Telford Update

Ever banged your head against a brick wall? This is one of those situations. Today I got an email from Phil, Melvins boss by the looks of things.Democratic Services Manager is his official title.
As before, there is no answer to the true question. If this nomination is not one of the descriptions registered then what did they use as proof? And who was it from?
Very simple questions, but it seems to get anywhere they want you to spend your own money going to court, and they will also waste your taxpayers money defending themselves. Couldn't make it up, could you?

Here is Phil's response

We note the contents of your e-mails and the concerns you express. We have confirmed that the description used in the nomination paper to which you refer is not one of the descriptions registered under Section 28 or 28A.

We have also advised you or your rights in respect of this matter.

Having done that it is not appropriate for us to advise further. If you wish to take this matter further you must seek your own legal advice

The Guardian editorial team is the only ones to reply so far, with a link to a list of their journalists, funnily enough Mr Ian Cobain was not on it. But we will see if any others respond.

This is exactly the sort of thing which makes me continue to support the BNP, the system is simply not even bothering to cover up its contempt for the public in how they are fixing elections, or covering their own tracks and using our money to defend themselves.
