Now if you was to believe the media it only reports that the BNP vote slumped from 440 to 234 nearly a 50% drop. But what about the percentage share?
Well lets look at the facts.
The Tories gave up on the area,
as well as the Liberals,
plus there was a big anti BNP machine out,
Labour lose 300 votes.
Yet the BNP stil manage to hold a solid vote share.
It is all in the numbers, Labours vote share has become stagnant, actually losing 300 votes in reality, the Tories have given up on this part of Liverpool and the BNP return to the same level of support as in 2007. Not what we all want as BNP supporters but hardly melt down. It is actually heartening that after all the attacks the BNP can still get patriots out to vote.
2007 BNP VOTE SHARE 9%
2008 BNP VOTE SHARE 14%
2010 BNP VOTE SHARE 9%

CLICK HERE FOR THE EAST MIDLANDS NATIONALIST Who has a good background on the area. The BNP had never fought Borough Council before, but had fought the County Council where the BNP got 15% of the vote, so without any canvassing and many smear campaigns from the anti BNP, the vote share increased by 5% to 20% last night.
The BNP is growing, and this is why you will see smear stories and accusations of BNP votes dispersing. But look at the facts and they tell you what is happening. It is a struggle but we are holding on in tough areas and growing in many others.
You do wonder if Labour have their vote in the bag though, the post bag that is.
Onwards and Upwards.
