As new candidates are press released by the BNP I will be doing mini backgrounds to the seat and any relevant information. It will be interesting to follow betting markets for each seat and see how the BNP has grown and is outperforming other parties.

You will notice that the Tories have strongly fallen from grace here. In 1992 this was the only seat they won. Where they got 39% of the vote, since then it has halved. Labour has always stayed around the 15,000 sheep mark. Where as the Lib dums have increased their share of the vote year on year.
This is target seat number 10 for the Lib Dums CLICK HERE you will see the results for the Scottish Parliamentary elections. Showing it is a Lib Dum seat but hotly chased by the SNP.
There is no doubt this will be a difficult seat for the BNP but it will give the people of the area a chance to vote for a party which supports the union and supports the British people. None of the other parties do that. In 1997 the referendum party got over 400 votes, that I would say is a target to realistically build on for this seat.
Betting odds from Paddy power only show 4 parties at present.
Labour 11/8
Liberal Democrats 2/1
Conservatives 10/3
SNP 13/2
