How convenient also was the death of the former leader John Smith on the 12th May 1994 which allowed Tony Blair to take up the leadership after a meal with Gordon Brown on how to carve up the leadership contest.

How different would have history have been if John Smith hadn't died of a heart attack. Robin Cook also who had resigned from the government due to him being against the invasion of Iraq also dies from a sudden heart attack...

Tony Blair now readily admits that not all the evidence was there, but he would have gone to war anyway. Killing millions of innocent people in Iraq and now Afghanistan, and allowing our troops to die in the name of an oil war.
