THE DIRTY TRICKS OF TWITTER

The site is overrun probably by only a few individuals with many accounts but it is still allowing a lot of libelous content to be aired.

One trick I have seen, is to create a pro BNP account make all sorts of outlandish comments. Have that then picked up by a website. Then re tweet it as though the whole of the BNP was like this. Twitter does seem to work on the theory that if you repeat something often enough it is somehow true.

You will have folks write up their own stories and views on the BNP. The most bizarre ones is that the BNP site has been copied from President Obamas website because it has roughly the same lay out. Also that a article yesterday from a Normandy veteran was somehow a copy of a anti fascist article from a Normandy Veteran in support of their campaign. So if I start a post one day by saying "Once upon a time..." Will I be sledged for ripping off bedtime stories?

It does become obvious as the same accounts help out other same accounts re tweeting again and again the same lies. Once they have built up enough stories they then bring back stories from months and even years ago as though they had just happened today.

It is a sad reflection on society if this is how people learn anything. It seems you do not need to support your argument with fact. It is more or less where you build your own evidence, go down the store and buy the props you need and put a case together. You tell your story and then if anyone believes you, that automatically means what you say must be true.

What is more disturbing is the sorts of posts that the site allows.

Anti Fascist usual sick fantasy
distant_angel The BNP look forward to the volcanic ash raining down on them as it will likely inspire fond nostalgia for the chimneys of Auschwitz #fb

This tweet was for simply tweeting about the BNP
omoly

@BNPRESULTS didn't your mother ever tell you when to shut your goddam mouth you ignorant pig?

The first comment is from some twisted anti fascist thug. Who makes a comment and then I am guessing in the future will then try to attribute it to the BNP. The latter is the normal daily abuse I get for simply re tweeting my articles here.

I have of course been sworn at numerous times, have been called many different vulgar names. Also threats of violence from TYPICAL UAF THUGS You will see how they glorify taking a BNP supporter hostage and violently attacking them.

This also was Retweeted many times by those who attack the BNP.

It seems this is the society we live in at present. You will be called from a pig to a dog for simply standing up for your rights. Yet these thugs will stop at nothing to promote their own twisted agendas, YOU NEED TO VOTE BNP TO STOP THEM AND TO PROTECT YOUR HOMELAND.

  1. It just proves our point further: They have no valid argument towards the BNP policies, they keep away from them because it is them that attract a huge number of supporters and followers. So they resort to this childish behavior and mass retweet total rubbish.
They (The anti-bnp and fascist anti-fascists) need to try and look from a floating voters point. They may come on to twitter or decide to check out some BNP news tweets and what do they see. They see the BNP and supporters putting out relevant news feeds that we believe are relevant to the state of our country, while the people against the BNP are just tweeting rubbish and acting out right childish. The only people winning floating voters over is the BNP and its supporters.

Swearing along with name calling is a regular thing, all one liners the only level of thought they can produce.

One person mentions or shouts something then they all join in like sheep, who lack the ability of free thinking and thought.
