Postal ballot claims rise by 9% in Halewood South, so far...

It is always interesting to see what happens in the back ground at election time. If you need any information it is always best to contact the election officer. Having seen irregularities in other wards in the past, such as Three Rivers and Barnsley I have tried to seek information especially concerning postal ballots.

Previous requests to certain councils comes back with varied replies, some of which are shocking but not surprising. Requests for postal voting applications and how many have been used in previous elections so we can compare. Surprise , surprise , councils don't keep this information. I have emails saying they couldn't help with my request as records have been lost.

So I emailed concerning the forthcoming Halewood South by election which has a BNP candidate standing. The reply shows a 9% increase in postal voting applications compared with the euro elections in June. Why is this election so much more popular ? Or is this yet another test run at third world elections ?

I truly think we should bring an end to postal voting, to stop the political elite from having the elections in the bag, the mail bag that is.
