Today the people of Cockermouth and the surrounding areas are in the middle of a natural disaster. 11 people are missing including a police officer and the army have had to be called out to help support the local emergency services who have struggled through the night to help rescue people from rising flood waters.
Bridges have collapsed in the area cutting off Workington, this has also cut off a mains gas supply. The 999 emergency number has broken down and so a new number 0845 3300247 has been needed to be issued.
All of this is being covered by SKY NEWS which has stopped its normal schedule to cover this event. But the BBC mouth piece of the NU LABOUR regime has spent the morning so far, giving just brief reports on the flood, and has spent the rest of the time, with propaganda on the new european presidenti and any other brain washing that dictator Brown wants releasing to the masses.
It is disgusting that our money should be used to help pay for the propaganda machine for the government. If this had been another suicide bomber in some god forsaken market in a needless oil war, it would have been made breaking news on the BBC, But the people of the UK are in danger and the BBC barely make it headline news.

And here is a funny coincidence, many hours after the initial flooding started and whilst other channels have covered it non stop. Wannabe superhero Gordon the Moron has pledged as much help as can be thrown at this area to gain him some votes in the next election, and AL BEEB has now got full coverage on the news channel. With big banners rolling across the screen about messages of support from Gordon the Moron . You simply couldn't make it up.
