BARKING is made up of 11 wards after a reshaping of the boundaries with Dagenham and Rainham, if you look at the results from last years mayoral elections and GLA results you will find the BNP got the largest share of the vote in, 5 out of 11 of those wards. This was achieved to the backdrop of BORIS V KEN taking centre stage.
This is the total votes from those wards attributed to the parties in 2008
Labour 7739...33.8% minus 14%
BNP 6143...26.9% plus 9.9%
CON 3734...16.3% minus 0.8%
CP 1039...4.5%
LD 1029...4.5% minus 5.6%
RESPECT 862...3.7%
GREEN 742...3.2%
UKIP 649...2.8% equal to 2005 general election result
OTHERS 934...4.1%
total votes 22871
Compare this with the General election result 2005
Margaret Hodge Labour 13,826 47.8 -13.1
Keith Prince Conservative 4,943 17.1 -5.9
Richard Barnbrook British National Party 4,916 17.0 +10.6

Terry Jones UK Independence Party 803 2.8 +2.8
Laurie Cleeland Green 618 2.1 +2.1
Demetrious Panton Independent 530 1.8 +1.8
Mick Saxby Workers Revolutionary Party 59 0.2 +0.2
Majority 8,883 30.7
Turnout 28,906 50.1 +4.6
The differential between 2008 and 2005 is an incredible boost for the BNP and shows even before this past year of results and media coverage we have a great chance of taking BARKING and regaining Britain for the BRITISH.
The media may say that the BNP is insignificant and have had only nominal gains but these figures do not lie they show the progress the BNP has made.
