Bolsover 25th August 2011

A very low key by-election that did not warrant a mention on the main party site at all, which is surprising given that the BNP scored a fairly respectable 10.29% of the vote, far in excess of recent derisory results. A few years ago the BNP would have had an excellent chance of winning this seat, however, it is no great surprise that the Greens appear to have become the protest vote of choice.

Having said this a vote of over 10%

Key, David    The British National Party    43 (10.29%)
Musgrove, Ian James    The Green Party    103
Newholme, Frederick Robert    The Conservative    72
Peake, Sandra    The Labour Party    200 (Elected)

Another bad Night For UKIP

Three by-elections last night of note, two involving the BNP and one UKIP

YORK, Hull Road

Lab 860
Con 296
LD 183
Green 84
Trevor Brown BNP 42 (2.9%)

York has never been a strong area for the BNP but well done Trevor for sticking in there.

ST HELENS Billinge and Seneley Green

Labour 1,388 (58.3%)
Conservative 624 (26.2%)
Liberal Democrat 229 (9.6%)
James Thomas Winstanley (British National Party) 141 (5.9%)

Well done James for giving the good folk of St Helens someone to vote for

Finally, one election involving UKIP

Watford Central
Liberal Democrats 696 (44.1%)
Labour 622 (39.4%)
Conservatives 158 (10.0%)
Green Party 79 (5.0%)
Dan Channing (UK Independence Party) 24 (1.5%)

Yet another abysmal result for UKIP who are beginning to make our recent results look good. Couple this with the continual no shows from the English Democrats, National Front and other minor Nationalist Parties it is becomming increasingly obvious that the BNP is the only party capable of putting up a half decent performance.

LABOUR GOES TO WAR ON CLASS, THE BNP IS THE ONLY PARTY FIGHTING FOR WHAT REALLY CONCERNS THE BRITISH PUBLIC.

The above is taken from politicalbetting.com they highlight that Labours new strategy of going for the class war attack on the Tories is very low down on the general publics list of concerns.

The economy, immigration and work is what really concerns the British public. But all the major parties want more immigration which is only bad for the economy and British job prospects.

So whilst Labour fight phoney wars now over class as well as Afghanistan the BNP fight for what really concerns the British people. British jobs for British workers (and the BNP won't back down on this unlike Gordon the Moron )

SOUTH OXHEY RUGBY CLUB THANKS BNP FOR HELP.

source WATFORD OBSERVER

Thanks to Green Arrow forum who first brought this story to light.

This shows that the BNP is the only party which shows that charity does begin at home.

TWO councillors from the far right British National Party (BNP) were entertained by a newly-formed community rugby club in South Oxhey yesterday.

The South Oxhey Rugby Club Exiles invited county councillor Deidre Gates, and Three Rivers district councillor Seamus Dunne, to share their post match drinks, and a game pie cooked in their honour at The Dick Whittington pub in Prestwick Road.

Matty Thorne, who got the club off the ground at the start of the season in September, said: “If it had not been for the help given by these councillors, our club could not exist.

“We needed money for shirts, balls, hiring pitches and so on.”

Councillor Gates, elected for South Oxhey in June, was persuaded by Councillor Dunne to put £3,000 of her £10,000 allocation grant, available to all county councillors for community projects, into the club, while Three Rivers District Council put in a further £3,000.

Mr Thorne, 31, said: “Although we have lost today, it is going really well.

“We have more than 30 members and two or three new people are turning up every week.

“South Oxhey is an area of high deprivation, and although there are five football clubs there isn't much else for people to do for physical exercise.”

Anticipating criticism for accepting the BNP's help – refused by the South Oxhey Community Choir – he said: “I am not interested in politics, but I know this club is a good thing for the community and I need help from wherever I can get it.

“Whether you like it or not, many people round here voted for the BNP.”

Club captain Danny Howard said: “Before the club, most people here just spent all their time drinking.

“The club has given us all not just something to do but something to talk about rather than getting into fights.”

Councillor Gates said: “It was not the BNP's money, but council taxpayers' money, and I find it personally offensive that some people think it is somehow tainted.”

Councillor Dunne said: “This club is a very good thing for the South Oxhey. It is good for health and fitness and it helps foster a sense of community.”

All are welcome at the Exiles, who are so called as they include refugees from various local clubs and train on Thursday evenings at the South Oxhey Pavilion.

AL BEEB LAUNCHES DEMOCRACY LIVE

http://news.bbc.co.uk/democracylive/hi/

Al Beeb voice of Nu Labour launched its new democracy live site, of course this is democracy in the eyes of Al Beeb. If you look at the make up of the MEP's fron the UK You will find CON,LAB,LIBS AND UKIP anything else is others. So the BNP don't exist or the Green party for that fact.

I did do FOUR searches,

BNP

BRITISH NATIONAL PARTY

NICK GRIFFIN

ANDREW BRONS

Click on any of the searches you would be interested in, when you get to the site it will allow you then to see how often that phrase was used in a speech, you can then click on the minute it was used and go straight to the part of the broadcast. That point I can commend the Beeb for. But its slanted view on democracy I can not, I will be watching in the coming months just how much coverage the BNP gets.
