Not a good area in Leicestershire for the BNP, but good to see them put up a candidate. 94 votes might not seem a lot but 7% is a good result given recent results, hopefully the tide is beginning to turn again.
A good result, all things considered. The activists did a good job leafleting the area with the relevant information. At 7% in a relatively un-enriched (this is changing fast) area, it is a result that can be built upon. Given the relatively high standard of living, and the pleasant disposition of the ward, to achieve 7% is akin to victory.
