A great result, a ward in which we have never stood before gaining 11.5% in the Euro elections we need around 13% and to get this in a new ward bodes well for the strong wards in the rest of the East Midlands. Somehow people turned to Labout to oust the Tories, so that turns the 18% Tory poll leads on their head. But the clear winner tonight was the BNP with the greatest percentage gain of the evening.
